By now, it’s well-known that surgeons have to spend months in a surgical suite before being allowed to wear a surgical mask in public.
The same goes for the surgical tech jobs.
While most people know that the jobs can only be done by the top-ranked surgeons, a growing number of doctors and surgeons are looking to the future.
This week, the Medical Technology Association of America (MTAA) and the American Medical Association (AMA) issued a joint statement saying they’re excited about the new technology.
“We’re excited to see that doctors are able to use this technology to help them perform more efficient and safe surgeries, with fewer complications,” AMA President and CEO Mark Rosenberg told CNBC’s Jim Cramer.
“The AMA supports the ability of surgeons to safely and effectively perform surgery, and the AMA will continue to work with the medical technology industry to advance this technology.”
The AMA says its membership has grown from 4.4 million to nearly 16 million since 2012, which includes 1.6 million surgeons.
The AMA, which represents about 25,000 doctors, has been working with companies like Blue Coat Medical, which is developing a helmet for medical teams that can be worn in public, and is partnering with the U.S. Navy to develop a similar helmet.
And now, some doctors are ready to show off their surgical masks.
The MTAA and AMA have partnered on a new product called the “surgical mask,” which combines medical technology with a surgical cap.
It’s a “proprietary surgical mask designed to be worn by surgeons, with surgical tools on the face,” according to a press release.
The new mask, which the AMA says will be available this spring, will feature a flexible, surgical-grade plastic that can fit under a surgical helmet, and will include a surgical device and an attachment for an operating microscope.
This will make it easier for surgeons to perform a wide variety of surgeries, including operations for blood vessels, tumors, and even the removal of skin from the head.
Medical devices will be able to detect changes in the blood vessels that might affect the operation, as well as changes in body temperature.
The mask can be used with or without surgical gloves, and can be placed over the surgical tool to prevent the device from getting stuck in the surgeon’s hand.
The device is being made by a team of surgeons at the University of Michigan and the University, of Pennsylvania, and has a price tag of $150,000.
In addition to the mask, the company also plans to introduce a new device called the surgical cap that will use surgical tools to close a wound and allow blood to flow to a surgical site, and to keep the blood flow in the wound as well.
According to the company, this is the first time surgical tools can be inserted into the mouth and the first medical device to have surgical tools in the surgical device.
The team hopes that the new device will help surgeons reduce complications during the operation.
“Surgical masks and surgical caps will enable surgeons to conduct an extremely effective and safe surgery with minimal complications,” the company says in the press release, and says the surgical mask will be “available in spring 2019.”
